Timing Belts
Gates is the only manufacturer approved by virtually every major OEM to provide timing belts for new engines. This means that Gates is able to cover the aftermarket with timing belts that are OE-equivalent or better in service life and performance. The timing belt range available from Roadsafe PAJA features belts to cover the majority of Australian aftermarket requirements.
Gates Timing Component Kits
Gates also has the largest selection of timing component kits for the aftermarket, with 75 percent of its kits being specified for import vehicles. Each kit contains all the parts needed for a timing belt system replacement: one or more timing belts, idlers and/or tensioners, and detailed instructions.

To reduce "job comebacks" and increase sales opportunities, Gates has a new line of Timing Component Kits that allow you to service the complete timing system - including the belt(s), idler(s), tensioner pulley(s) and installation instructions.
Plus, Gates aftermarket timing kits eliminate the inconvenience of buying from multiple sources and the hassle of returning components that don't fit right the first time.
Gates Micro-V or V-Ribbed Belt
The Gates V and Micro V Belt programme available through Roadsafe PAJA features over 400 stocked part numbers, with access to an additional 250 numbers. This range covers the majority of required applications in the Australian aftermarket.
Gates Micro-V Belts outperform other V-ribbed belts because they are truncated (shorter). This shorter profile gives the new Micro-V Belts increased flexibility, reduced heat build up and allows them to operate at extra high speeds on smaller diameter sheaves.
Additional advantages of Gates belts include:

Gates Hose
Gates has the industry's most complete line of OEM-equivalent, small diameter coolant hoses. With nearly 500 sizes, the new line provides coverage for up to 1,200 part number applications found on millions of cars, light trucks and vans. Small diameter hoses are designed for complex routing in today's tight-fitting engine compartments. They are typically used for coolant, water and air applications.
The trim-to-fit hoses, up to 1-in. ID, feature multiple bends, multiple planes, dual ID's; lengths, up to eight feet and convoluted sleeve protectors as required. In many cases, the installer can cut off the permanent fittings on an old hose, and reinstall them, with new clamps, on Gates replacement hose.
Gates OE-style, small diameter hoses are built with a premium quality EPDM tube and cover to assure long service life. The material resists electrochemical degradation that causes tube cracking and unexpected hose failure.
